Continuing Education
MC Health Tech has been innovating with PHYSIUM® technologies for more than a decade, perfecting Pulsed Negative Pressure (PNP) massage therapy.
Our evidence-based approach has resulted in efficient and reproducible treatment protocols for maximum patient-and-clinician resolve and efficacy.
The training platform is to ensure access and proficiency to the entire PHYSIUM®community of all treatment techniques, and at all times.
The clinical treatment protocols clearly defines where PHYSIUM®excels, but also recognizes its limitations.
Treatment results become imminent when PTs apply the entire range of PHYSIUM’s capabilities, and understands the importance of details such as:
- Pressure (mbar/psi) to be applied according to each myofascial or neuromuscular unit.
- Treatment purpose; anti-inflammatory, mechanic restriction, myofascial tension, neurodynamic stress, edema, fibrosis, etc.
- Frequency utilized according to the required bio stimuli.
- Patient positioning dependent on treatment unit and desired outcome.
- Election of passive or active technique according to muscle, nerve, fascia or joint to be treated.
- Correct use of inferior/superior leverage when stretching the patient as per tissue requirement.
- Optimal choice of treatment heads according to treatment purpose and desired bio stimuli.
- Correct choice of manipulation technique depending on the specific tissue to be treated.
- Correct use of inferior/superior leverage when stretching the patient as per tissue requirement.
- Adequate clinical treatment protocol selection.
Our R&D team, along with our clinical training divisions, procures for a continuing evolution and addition of treatment protocols and technique improvements.
We strive for efficacies benefitting both clinicians and their patients.
